"The Cinder Princess"
Rebecca grew up in Fairfax, Virginia. She then studied Liberal Arts & Sciences at Virginia Tech, with minors in Mathematics, Psychology & English. Her parents were both vocalists & vocal teachers, performing together in radio ads in the 1950's. Her mother sang with the Washington Symphony Orchestra. Her father sang with the Washington Metropolitan Opera for over 20 years & was a soloist at her church all throughout her childhood. Her sister has been a singer, actress, director, sound manager, writer and producer, (& attorney!) for productions for the better party of the past 30 years.
Ironically, Rebecca has no professional vocal training whatsoever. She does attribute most of her vocal development during the past 4 years to her two "angels", the beloved Cinder Princess we all know & adore, who she gleefully emulates, & to the late Eva Cassidy, a brilliant singer, guitar player & song stylist from Maryland, who she never met nor became an obsessive fan of, until years after her untimely death. In these cases, Rebecca hopes that her growth has sprouted from & can be considered from, her use of the "imitation is the best form of flattery" technique.
Rebecca has dabbled for years with home businesses, & has always been a 'free spirit'. She worked in hotel & restaurant management, & was a flight attendant for years. She was in a rhythm & blues band for a little while in the 1990's, but quite spontaneously, created this princess party entertaining business based on the fact that she knew she was uninhibited by singing in front of people & performing. It has been built mostly on the joy that a singing princess brings to the door of a little princess' home on the day of her birthday party.
Princess Parties Virginia has been operating for over 4 years, & Rebecca has entertained little princesses & their royal guests at over 500 princess birthday parties. The reason why she has performed the same routine as the same character for more than 15 of the same birthday girls this year, as she did last year, is because the performance cannot be matched by any similar entertainer in the area. The children have awe on their faces & the parents have tears in their eyes. She sings like she has just been magically transferred from the Magic Kingdom itself. She performs a magic ceremony, anointing each princess & knight into royalty. She paints their faces with speedy, yet regal designs that the children love. She generously spends up to two hours at each party, getting to know the children & bonding with them, making them feel special. She cuts cake, serves guests, poses for pictures. As if all that is not enough, (if you wish) she will present each princess & knight with a personalized princess (or knight) party favor painting that she painted herself. The services Princess Parties Virginia provide bring joy & surprise to people at all turns. And, we proudly say that we take what your average princess entertainer would do & "blow it right out of the box!"
Rebecca lives on a gorgeous lake in beautiful & historic Orange County, Virginia, with her amazingly supportive husband, Chris & their two spunky & artistic children, Maggie & Bobby.

venture. The entertainers you see here have been meticulously trained
and/or are just that talented, as to be of the same caliber &
quality princess character(s) as Rebecca has become herself.

Christiana
"Sleeping Princess" and
"Native American Princess"
Christiana's Bio:
Christiana has extensive experience in the performing arts, as well as in working with little children. She has been in 3 choirs & has performed solos. She has been the star in many dramatic productions, including in-character Vacation Bible School interactions, where she has played an actress/diva (who thought she was a princess), a pirate and a dog. She has assisted in directing a dinner theater & was the stage manager & recruiter. She is currently working on another dinner theater production. And, she is currently in a high level ballet class, & has taken ballet most of her life.
Christiana
believes every little girl is a princess & she wants to help
inspire them to believe it. She would love to come singing &
dancing, & have a merry time with your little princess on her
birthday or special occasion. She has painted dozens of faces & has
played with large groups of children for multiple summer camps. She
has a knack for captivating her little audience & keeping them
interested. Being
the oldest of six children, she is an expert at how children tick. She
loves children & especially princess-loving girls, as she was once
one herself.

Casey
"The Sleeping Princess"
Like any girl, Casey grew up dreaming of one day becoming a
princess and she would love to come sing and dance with your little princess to
celebrate her birthday or other special occasion.
Casey grew up in Virginia
Beach, Virginia. She then attended the University
of Mary Washington and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of
Science in Elementary Education. Casey is currently a 2nd grade
teacher at a private school in Alexandria, Virginia, but she has spent time
working and playing with children of all ages.
In college, she worked as a swim
instructor for small groups
of students ages 2-12, as well as a cognitive therapist, tutoring children with mild learning
disabilities.
Casey has been a member or various choirs throughout her
years in school, including an eight-member jazz acapella group in high school and
an all-girl acapella group in college.
Every little girl deserves a special day
