"I cannot thank you, Christiana, and Ben enough! They were OUTSTANDING!
Alexandra was talking a big game before they came in but she's one of those children that takes about an hour to come out of her shell (real shy) so when she opened the door and saw them she went into hiding mode. They were so patient and wonderful with her and adjusted to her shyness. Within an hour she was back to her old self.
So let me just say that their voices are amazing. When Christiana came in singing everyone thought (except for me) that she was lip-syncing to the song. Some parents thought that it was really Mandy Moore singing until they realized that it was all Christiana and later Ben. They were astounded and they told me how fantastic she was. Lots of them even said that it was THE BEST party they had ever been to.
Pass Pascal with Flynn Rider went so well. The girls are young so I knew that when they were "out" that they would be sad so we gave them prizes when they were "out." He was SO good with them. This was all while Rapunzel was doing facepainting which looked amazing! One of the mommies even got one - ha! Alexandra has asked me every 15 minutes since then if it's still on. Tattoos with Flynn were also a HUGE hit.
Now let's talk about their costumes. I asked Rapunzel where she got hers and she said she made it. You can tell! Beautiful! The ones I've seen for adults in stores look SO cheap. Her costume was absolutely gorgeous and so like Rapunzel's. There was no doubt that she looked EXACTLY like Rapunzel. And Flynn Rider - awesome! Alexandra even asked about the crown and whether it was in his satchel and where Maximus was and they played along so well.
And the dancing - the girls LOVED it. I can't believe she did all the songs -- girls requested Belle, Cinderella, Ariel. It was so, so good!
Anyway, I just want to say that I am over-the-moon about this party. Alexandra is our only child; the three of us are very close. Christiana and Ben made this a truly memorable 4th birthday. I hope you share this with them because they will soon go in a scrapbook - she will have those memories forever! Seriously, I almost cried at one point - when Alexandra told me it was the best party she ever had!!!!
